Yet another college campus group using racial motives as party themes. This time participators wore gardening shirts with bigoted stereotypes about Latinos scrawled on the backs of them. The students were suspended from the university for one year.
As reported by the Associated Press, “Many first time and minority home buyers face significant challenges when trying to purchase a home, and such difficulties have resulted in many of them assuming risky, adjustable-rate, subprime loans.”
A recent conference, “Immigration, Multiracial Identification and Changing Color Lines” in Illinois, invited all participants to ponder the question, “Are Asians and Latinos Becoming White?”

The home buying thing is the most conserning and one that needs to be focused on and addressed. There is no more important group of citizens than the middle class. The midle class buy homes, cars, stereos and tvs. Eat at Fridays, P.J. McPickleshitters etc. Without this group any country is reamed. So, to deny anyone that can afford a home a home - the basis of middlecalssism, is destructive not only to that family, but to the country.
This is one of the major overlooked reasons this administration is destroying this country. Yes Iraq is bleeding us dry for money and people and respect. Yes the constitution is in shambles, yes the rule of law has been mocked, but to destroy the middle class with tax increases, loss of eduction opportunities, grants, bankruptcy protection, interest rate hikes etc will be the end of us.
