I don't really get the point of O'Reily's show. He invites guests on, makes outrageous statements and doesn't give the guests a chance to respond. I mean does he just invite them on so he can tell them what he thinks or does he actually want to hear their perspective? I don't think he really cares, I think he just wants to make his xenophobic remarks about Muslims and immigrants, and anyone who isn't a white right wing male. What does he aim to do by just repeating over and over, "75 percent of the world violence comes from the muslim world" in this clip?


Articulate is a codeword and the inference often is this: 'Wow you're black and can speak standard English, and skillfully? Omigoch!' "Articulate' is our generation's euphemistic equivalent to 'Aren't you the little credit to your race'."

I guess Bush and O'Reily never saw the Chris Rock bit about Colin Powell being articulate. "He speaks so well" As if it were some kind of surprise, that he would be because he is black.
