A Chinese restaurant in Tuscan, AZ., is getting heat for a mocking ad that the owner thought was funny. One interviewee in the
Tuscan Citizen brought up the idea of humor and its place in the eradication of racism: "Our society is inundated with humor that is meant to degrade," she said. "We will remain vigilant and persistent because racism, even in jest, is just not acceptable."

Racist discrimination can lead to drug abuse, according to an Iowa State study that looked at more than 600 black adolescents from Georgia and Iowa, and found that those who experience prejudice prior to age 12 are twice as likely to use drugs by the time they’re teens.
